Ah, Tolerance

You may or may not have heard of the German family which asked for asylum here in the US because of German anti-homeschooling laws; they felt that the German government was persecuting them because they wished to homeschool their children due to the secularizing nature of public schools (which is a common reason many American homeschooling proponents offer, as well).

Well, out Eric ‘Tolerance’ Holder’s Department of (in)Justice finally decided that their claim wasn’t enough to grant them asylum: after all...
"The goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society," the Justice Department brief states in their battle against the Romeike family. "Teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany." (emphasis mine)
Ah, yes; in order to teach and facilitate tolerance, our Justice Department (along with the German government) utilizes intolerance.  This is typical ProgLibDem nonsense: there's only one form of tolerance as far as they're concerned, and it runs something like this - ‘we won’t tolerate your intolerance so we will be intolerant in the overarching quest for tolerance'.

Or something like that.
